International Programs

    IAPSRS after taking Consultative Status from ECOSOC has started to develop its foreign reliefs to other countries. The society has done 3 international programs in the last two year (2010-2011). These programs are based on giving relief helps to needy people around the world. The three programs have done for three countries, Pakistan, Iraq, and Kenya. Also, IAPSRS has expressed its feelings with Japanese people after the great tsunami in 2011. In what follows, a brief report about three relief programs of IAPSRS in foreign countries can be read.

Relief helps after Pakistan Flood 2010

    After the great flood in 2010 in Pakistan, IAPSRS has held a food festival in Tehran with accordance of Pakistani people in Iran. All money gathered, was sent to Pakistani people who suffered from the great flood. In this 1-day program, more than 10,000 US dollars was gathered and sent to buy and give free food to Pakistani people.

IAPSRS in Iraq 2010

    IAPSRS representatives went to the South of Iraq, ALamareh city, and talked to Iraqi students and NGOs. They also, located some deprived vicinities in the city and its suburbs. According to their report, many poor families are living there and they cannot afford their first needs, food, shelter, and cloths. IAPSRS in the last two years has wanted to have a free food program in the neighborhood, but due to financial problems in Iran, IAPSRS has not been able to gather sufficient money for Iraq relief plan. However, it is in our missions and as soon as we can, the free food plan will be held in Iraqi deprived areas.

Kenya free food program 2011

    In 2011, IAPSRS has sent one of its representatives to Kenya – Africa. She started to locate deprived vicinities and needy children in Nairobi city. She provides free food during the week and feed needy children in Nairobi suburbs. The program has had about 6000 US dollars and tens of needy children are under support of the plan. Our representative also lives in Kenya and is in touch via Tehran by telephone and Internet.
